The Natural History of the P.H.
The Natural History of the P. H. is an essay on the subject of what the author has defined as the primitive heroine. Its interest is two-fold, first because it sheds light on much of Keith Roberts' own fiction, and second because it discusses what Roberts sees as the concerns he shares with Robert Holdstock, author of Mythago Wood, about the role of primitive heroine in fiction. Essential stuff for those interested in the fiction of either writer.
